I just love the models in this, they’re so versatile! They don’t go for realistic anything, which I super dig for something like this. It can be pretty disconcerting when really stylized, simple CGI models have really defined lip texture and 300 eyelashes. I really love how the mouths are just rounded off, open gaps in the geometry. What a good decision by the art director, perfect. I really love CGI and I’m so excited about where it could go. This is one of my favorite movies ever, and if you haven’t seen it or are put off by the look, I implore you to give it a try.
